CE, UKCA and ErP: what EU and UK lighting importers need in 2026

The documents your customs broker and market surveillance authority will ask for, and which of them we supply.

A meeting with a buyer

As an importer into the EU you are responsible for the products you place on the market, even though we made them. In practice that means holding four things for every model: an EU Declaration of Conformity, the technical file, test reports to the harmonised standards, and — for light sources — an EPREL registration.

What we supply

For every model we sell into Europe we supply the test reports (EN 60598 for luminaires, EN 62560 for lamps, EMC and RoHS), a draft Declaration of Conformity in your company’s name, and the EPREL data you need to register the light source.

The UK

UKCA marking remains accepted alongside CE for most lighting; we can print either or both on the rating label.
